Ep. 9: Collateral Damage By Dog
Did you miss us? We missed you too.
After a very, very long delay, we finally have a brand new episode for you, and fortunately, this one is awesome. This time we brought on a guest and a good friend of ours, Mike Dowling. Mike is a Marine Corps veteran who served as a military working dog handler.
Dowling now works in Hollywood as a producer and actor. You’ve seen him, for example, as the police sniper creeping up the stairs to take out the Boston bomber in the recent film “Patriot’s Day.”
He’s also the author of a book about his experiences in uniform, called Sergeant Rex: The Unbreakable Bond Between a Marine and His Military Working Dog.
We jump around quite a bit in our very fun conversation, but the main topics we get into is Max’s recent trip to Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, Calif. and Trump’s awesome proposal of a “Space Force.” And since Mike has lots of experience with dogs in the military, we talk a lot about that, and surprise, surprise, there’s plenty of conversation centered around poop. You’re welcome.
